6 Days Safari Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire

Day 1: Arusha / Lake Manyara National Park Early morning departure from Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara Park for game viewing and photography; Lake Manyara is home to large numbers of flamingo, pelican, stork and other different bird species and is therefore regarded as the birding paradise of Tanzania. Giraffe, gazelle, warthog and others can be seen browsing inside the park. If lucky, you might see the rare tree climbing lion which also resides within this park. Overnight: Twiga Campsite / Lake Manyara Hotel Meal plan: Lunch, dinner, breakfast

Day 2: Lake Manyara / Serengeti National Park Early breakfast followed by departure to the Great Serengeti arriving for lunch; lunch is followed by game viewing. Serengeti is home to Africa’s big five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard & buffalo) and is also home to millions of other animals which include browsers, predators, reptiles and birds. The annual wildebeest migration commences in June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head into the Maasai Mara plains in search of better pasture. These animals are followed closely by the predators of the savannah (lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, vultures and others). Evening transfer back to accommodation for rest and dinner Overnight: Seronera Campsite / Seronera Wildlife Lodge Meal plan: Lunch, dinner, breakfast

 Day 3: Serengeti Early breakfast followed by game viewing within the famous and game studded Serengeti plains which is also home to over 500 bird species. Your expert guide will help you track animals, spot camouflaged animals and birds as well as stop patiently for you to take many pictures. Break for lunch at camp / lodge then proceed with afternoon game viewing till evening Overnight: Seronera Campsite / Seronera Wildlife Lodge Meal plan: Lunch, dinner, breakfast

Day 4: Serengeti / Ngorongoro Crater Early breakfast followed by morning game drives within the park which is famous for its big five and other numerous plains game, predators and birds. After lunch at the camp, check out and be driven to Ngorongoro arriving in the evening for check in and rest at the camp. Overnight: Simba Camp / Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge Meal plan: Lunch, dinner, breakfast

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour / Tarangire Morning departure with packed picnic lunch to eat during your 6 hours game viewing within crater floor. Descend to the crater to see the breath-taking huge caldera which is home to Tanzania’s only remaining black rhino population. Other animals which are easy to spot include hippo, elephant, gazelle antelope, flamingo and other water birds. After the tour you will ascend back to the crater rim and be transferred to Tarangire Park arriving in the evening for check in and dinner at camp /lodge Overnight: Kigongoni Camp / Tarangire Safari Lodge Meal plan: Lunch, dinner, breakfast

Day 6: Tarangire / Arusha After breakfast, enjoy morning game drives within Tarangire Park which derives its name from the Tarangire River that traverses within the park. The park gives support to many types of animals especially during the dry season when animals migrate from the dry lands in search of greener pastures. Animals easy to spot include wildebeest, zebra, eland, elephant, buffalo, hartebeest and others. After lunch at camp / lodge you will be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro for your onward flight to your next destination.
