Coffee Tour / Waterfall Hike

Coffee in Tanzania was introduced by the missionaries back in the 19th century, in what was formerly called Tanganyika. It was introduced to numerous regions. In the North of the country, they chose the arable lands of the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro which is now the coffee-producing center of the country.

The locals of this area, the Chagga people, have relied upon coffee as a subsistence crop over the centuries and the country as a major export. It is a mainstay of life in Moshi.

Join us on this trip and experience firsthand the amount of work put into production of coffee, plant to beverage. You will leave this experience with a new appreciation and love for coffee.
